One quick check first
It keeps the builds for people rather than for crawlers.
Windows
Windows 10 and 11. Pick the one for your PC's processor: x64 for most PCs, ARM64 for Snapdragon and other ARM PCs. Both are signed, so they install under Smart App Control.
macOS
macOS 11 or later, one app for Apple silicon and Intel Macs, signed and notarized by Apple. Recording the screen needs macOS 12.3, and the Mac's own sound macOS 13.
Installing
A minute, then your first recording.
Windows
- 1Open the .msi and follow the installer. A newer version installs over the one you have.
- 2Start PowerScreen from the Start menu, then choose File ▸ Record Screen.
macOS
- 1Open the .dmg and drag PowerScreen to Applications.
- 2The first time you record, macOS asks for Screen & System Audio Recording permission. Allow PowerScreen in System Settings.
- 3Then quit PowerScreen and open it again: macOS applies the permission only to a fresh start.
